Whether you're a seasoned adventurer or a newcomer, the Get the Girls Out! gatherings aim to foster a community where participants can thrive outdoors, inspire one another and younger generations, forge new connections, and rekindle friendships. Grab your friends, and get ready to make unforgettable memories!All minors (under age 18) must be supervised by a parent or guardian for the full event.SheJumps is an inclusive organization. We welcome all women and girls—transgender and cisgender, as well as non-binary people.Join us in Girdwood, AK for a full day of skiing, riding, and fun on February 28th!Cost: $10 and includes a raffle ticket and 20% off your lift ticket! Participants are responsible for their own lift ticket & gear. Dress in layers to allow you to quickly and easily regulate your temperature. Modern, breathable fabrics such as polyester, nylon or wool blends breathe well and don’t absorb sweat. Avoid cotton as it will keep you cold once it gets wet. Make sure to check the weather and wear or bring clothing that will protect you from the elements: a cold wind or wet snow can quickly chill an unprepared skier.***Feel free to bring your inner Girafficorn and wear colorful, silly, and unique attire. Costumes are encouraged! Do you have some amazing leggings and a tutu? A stellar onesie? Vintage ski gear? A fun wig? Throw it on! When picking out your costume, remember to be mindful of cultural appropriation and choose a costume that respects all backgrounds and world cultures. Not into dressing up? TOTALLY COOL!
